The “Start, Transition-area and Finish-line” is in front of the Maritime Museum located at: Djurgårdsbrunnsvägen 24, 115 27 Stockholm. Bus No# 69 from the Central Station stops right outside the Maritime Museum. The closest subway station is Karlaplan or Gärdet. A walk from Djurgårdsbron to the Maritime Museum along Djurgårdsbrunnsviken is also recommended.

Arlanda Airport is Stockholm’s international airport. You can get to Stockholm from Arlanda Airport by taxi, bus, or express train. Bromma Airport is the city airport. Buses from Stockholm Arlanda Airport run regularly while those to and from Bromma, Skavsta and Västerås airports connect with arrival.

The state-owned rail company SJ runs most long-distance and domestic routes in Sweden. Central Station in Stockholm is the natural hub for travelers. The local and long-distance trains come and go from here. The Cityterminalen bus station is upstairs. City buses to Djurgården depart outside.

Stockholm Public Transport, SL, is responsible for buses, underground trains, commuter trains, trams and certain ferry lines in Greater Stockholm.

Traveling by local ferries is a fantastic way to experience a city built on islands.
